Greater Clark County Schools Board of Trustees approved agreements with contractors for the new Jeffersonville High School pool/natatorium and a new Parkwood Elementary building.
The pool/natatorium will be one-of-a-kind, with a 50-meter stretch pool featuring 10 lanes and a diving well with two 1-meter boards and one 3-meter board. It will also have a therapy pool.
The Parkwood project will replace the outdated 54-year-old building with a new one at the current site. This new building will also help address the growing student population in the area.
Both projects are part of the district’s 5-year facility plan.

The event will be at the NoCo Arts Center in Jeffersonville, from April 27-29. There will be a special Artists’ Reception on Thursday, April 27.

Nearly 800 juniors from across the district attended the annual college fair hosted at Jeffersonville High School.
More than 40 postsecondary organizations were represented, which included public & private institutions, in-state & out-of-state schools; two-year & four-year program providers; trade & apprenticeship entities; and all military branches.
This experience ensures that all students have an option to explore additional learning opportunities after high school, regardless of their desired career.
